Albany NY. - The New Jersey Devils finally named a new general manager this afternoon. Chris Roberts - also known as the General Manager of the Colorado Avalanche in SLHL has arrived in Jersey. We caught up with Chris this today and asked him what his intentions are with the Devils.
"Well, I want to contend. Plain and simple. When asked about who could potentially be on the way out of town, he had this to say with a smirk on his face "This is a note to all other General Mangers out there. Parise, Zajac and Brodeur will only be moved for a package that will help this team win now, AND in the future. I'm not ruling out the potential for them to be moved, but dont make me an offer unless you were in my position and would accept it. Other than that, everyone has their price.
